About GCR

A Beacon of Hope and Support for Communities in Need

Established on January 10, 2018, and authorized under Law No. 90/053 of December 19, 1990, by the senior Divisional Officer for Mezam Division in the North West Region of Cameroon, GCR is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals regardless of their gender, social status, or race.
At GCR, we believe in the fundamental rights of every individual. Our mission is to ensure that basic necessities such as water, education, health, and electricity are not luxuries, but rights accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances. We are guided by the principle of inclusivity and equality, striving to create a world where every citizen is respected and protected from all forms of harm.

Our core objectives at Global Community Rescue (GCR) encompass a range of critical areas aimed at improving the well-being of communities we serve.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)

We are dedicated to providing clean water sources, sanitation facilities, and promoting hygiene practices to prevent waterborne diseases and enhance overall health.

We prioritize Protection, ensuring the rights and well-being of vulnerable populations, including children and women, by providing essential services, shelter, and support.

In Health, we aim to ensure access to basic healthcare services, preventive measures, and support for communities affected by conflict, disaster, or disease outbreak

Our focus on Education involves promoting access to quality education for all children and supporting schools with essential resources to create a conducive learning environment

We are committed to Women and Youth Empowerment, offering skills development, entrepreneurship training, and support for sustainable livelihoods.

We advocate for the safe and sustainable use of energy, including alternative sources, to improve access and reduce dependency on traditional methods.
