Congratulations to Global Community Rescue [GCR]!!! GCR is now a Co-Lead Humanitarian WASH Advocacy Group with Global WASH Cluster [GWC]

GCR  from Cameroon is pleased to inform you that they have been selected as one of the Co-Leads for  Humanitarian WASH Advocacy Group with Global WASH Cluster [GWC] together with OXFAM from UK/US, IRC [New York] and Resilient40 [Uganda].This activty took place in the month of March, 2026 after the call for expression was sent out wherein GCR showcased interest and we were selected together with the others. This is for a mandate of 2 years. We do not take this responsbility for granted and we are ready to contribute for the growth of the Global WASH Cluster [GWC] nationwide. We thank God for preservation and strenth and we trust Him that we will guide us.

GCR is a humanitarian organisation established on January 10, 2018, and authorized under Law No. 90/053 of December 19, 1990, by the senior Divisional Officer for Mezam Division in the North West Region of Cameroon, GCR is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals regardless of their gender, social status, or race. Our vision is to envision an emerged Cameroon where the rights of every citizen is respected and they are able to access basic services like water, education, health, electricity, and protected from all forms of harm.

Our core objectives at Global Community Rescue (GCR) encompass a range of critical areas aimed at improving the well-being of communities we serve.

We have been carrying out humanitarian interventions since 2018 together with our parters [UNICEF, ECHO, USAID, SIDA, Japan, ITAKA and CERF].
